As an
Admin Team Leader,
you will lead and manage our fantastic team working in our logistics division. The site is easily accessible from Coventry, Solihull, Stratford Upon Avon, Alcester, Redditch, Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Halesowen, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford, Atherstone, Nuneaton and the surrounding areas.

Reporting into the Logistics Services Manager, the successful
Admin Team Leader
will be working closely with the business; partnering the Logistics Optimisation and Transport Teams. You will also you will be responsible for the administration processes for circa 1500 contracted hauliers.
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the
Admin Team Leader
will include (not exhaustive):
Ensuring day-to-day contract haulier vehicle management and administration are completed in line with SLAs
Supporting the manager with new initiatives and deputise for the Logistics Services manager when necessary
Develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Managing five direct reports which includes performance reviews, one to ones, development and training
Managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the team
Front facing with Hauliers, dealing with account queries, missing documents, replacement fuel cards and insurance amendments
Managing the vehicle onboarding and account termination process
Providing management information on volumes, KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends, process issues and root cause
Supporting the operational transport with ad hoc complex queries and requests
The ideal
Admin Team Leader
will be someone who has experience of leading a team and people managing, has strong organisational and time management skills and can show strong customer service skills.
Furthermore, if you have a good understanding and appreciation of continuous improvement and have an understanding of software such as Smartsheet and Docusign, this too would be beneficial in your application.
