Job Description

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of leading mobile dermatology app service, MySkinDoctor, as an Administration Assistant. The role is based at Technology House, Fishersgate and has good links to public transport, with Fishersgate train station and bus stops nearby.

MySkinDoctor (

) is an independent sector healthcare provider working in partnership with the

NHS

to provide a specialist service for the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions ranging from acne to skin cancer. The service has a reputation for clinical excellence and is the largest provider of Teledermatology services in the UK.

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Administration Assistants to provide support within a

fast-growing, recession proof business with many upcoming opportunities for career progression.



Job Purpose



Within this role the successful candidate well be the main point of contact for queries ranging from GP's, clinicians and nurses as well as managing patient correspondence to a very high standard. The Administration Assistants will provide an effective and efficient administrative service for patients and staff members of MySkinDoctor and work closely with colleagues at partner services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



Be the first point of contact via MySkinDoctor app for patients, clinicians, GP surgery staff and other partner providers and respond to appropriately and efficiently. Use TPP SystmOne & the bespoke MySkinDoctor portal to access patient information and clinical data. Update patient records with details of the MySkinDoctor app, email, or telephone correspondence. Communicate clinical outcomes with patients and GP's. Ensure all inboxes, answer phone services etc are monitored, and responses are accurate and efficient. Attend staff meetings as requested by the management team, fully engaging with dialogue, and sharing ideas / suggestions. Liaising with a wide range of internal staff including management, consultants, GP's, IT, nurses, and administration. Handle confidential patient information in a sensitive and discreet manner, whilst always in accordance with GDPR. Assist colleagues with any other reasonable duties as requested. Check and action 'administration team' tasks on SystmOne in date order. Encourage an open, friendly, and proactive atmosphere of staff and system development and procedures.

Key Skills and Experience



Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate in a sensitive and sympathetic manner via email and telephone. Experience of SystmOne would be advantageous, although not essential Experience in managing electronic patient records (desirable) Flexible and positive attitude Ability to organise workload Ability to adapt to process and procedure changes

Please note that we are an Independent Provider of NHS services. We therefore do not adhere to Agenda for Change pay scales or annual leave entitlements, and we do not offer the NHS pension

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)

Work from home eligibility once 6-month probationary period has been completed.

Salary is 25,000 and MySkinDoctor offers an annual discretionary bonus scheme.
