We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team of Construction Consultants. The ideal candidate will possess strong office experience and demonstrate proficiency in various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to staff, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our organisation.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
Ensuring the overall day to day smooth running of the office for the staff
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents
Utilise Microsoft Office applications for creating reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and digital documents
Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative functions are completed effectively
Skills
Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative processes
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Teams
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Good typing skills
Experience in data entry and maintaining detailed records
Knowledge of Construction is advantageous but not essential
Strong clerical experience with attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
Works well with a team in an office environment
