At Barry Bros Security the Administration Assistant's main area of responsibility is to create a powerful and positive first impression with each and every client.
Our Administration Assistant needs to have good communication and listening skills, the ability to relate to different types of people and a polite, friendly telephone manner. They also need to have good organisational, computer and database skills.
Our Administration Assistant will need to have an understanding of the purpose and background Barry Bros Security and the roles of other staff. For the Admin Assistant responsibilities they need to know how to use office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners and franking machines as well as the all important telephone system and company database. Knowledge of standard office procedures is also key.
The successful candidate will apply their administration experience as well as their ability to multi-task in the performance of answering incoming calls and other general office duties.
Areas of Responsibility
As Administration Assistant at Barry Bros Security, your main area of responsibility is to:
- Answer and transfer all incoming calls to the standard specified above
- Take and pass on messages for calls that are unable to be transferred
- Assisting the Service Desk Administration Team logging calls and scheduling Engineer appointments
- Updating Call information on the company database
Additional Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying and scanning
- Distributing incoming mail to relevant personnel within the company
- Assisting in other Administrative tasks as required
