Salary: 24,000 to 26,000 - Dependant on experience



Location: Llanrwst



Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday

About the role:



Our supportive & professional team are looking for a reliable, organised, and friendly individual. In this role you will provide outstanding customer service whilst ensuring you adhere to our compliance and regulatory requirements.



Working at both the Llanrwst and Llandudno offices, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do. This will involve:

Handling general customer enquiries, policy alterations and renewals by phone. Selling new NFU Mutual insurance policies; with a focus on home and car insurance. Introducing NFU Mutual Financial Services products to new and existing customers. Support with general office administration duties.


You will handle the administration work generated in the office with a focus on supporting the Agents and team with their day-to-day operations. This includes reviewing and processing policy renewals, dealing with customers in professional manner, processing policy amendments as requested, and seeking opportunities to introduce new or additional NFU Mutual products and services.

About you:



Welsh language skills are essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. A confident personality who can work well as part of a busy team. Someone who is proactive, shows initiative, and has a "can do" attitude Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I.T. literacy is essential and able to adapt to new systems A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and/or Welsh and Maths). A full and clean driving licence and able to work in Llanrwst and Llandudno.

Good Repute Checks

Agents of NFU Mutual are required to ensure that they, and their staff are of Good Repute and are required to carry out two independent checks on all staff.



1. Basic criminality check -Basic checks show any 'unspent' criminal records (as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). Once a conviction or caution is 'spent', it no longer shows on a basic check.

2. Bankruptcy check - to ensure that staff are not an un-discharged bankrupt.
