We are now looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administration & Finance Assistant to join our friendly finance team on a 9-month maternity cover. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic, supportive environment. Full training will be provided.

About the Role



Working closely with our Finance and Underwriting teams, you'll play a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations and supporting day-to-day office administration. You'll be involved in a range of finance, HR, and administrative tasks that contribute to the efficiency of our business.

Key Responsibilities



Processing business payments and reconciling accounts Entering and managing invoices using Xero Accounting Software Completing bank reconciliations accurately and on time Preparing claims, complaints, and conduct management reports Supporting HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding staff, and assisting with monthly payroll Producing monthly insurance bordereaux Monitoring customer arrears and following up on overdue payments Assisting with general office administration and ad hoc tasks as required

About You



You'll be someone who enjoys working with numbers, takes pride in accuracy, and has strong organisational skills. You'll be confident working independently, managing your own workload, and supporting a busy team when needed. Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be beneficial, but not essential -- a positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
