VACANCY - ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE OFFICER
The Management Committee and Centre Manager are looking for a capable and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Administration and Finance Officer.
Start date: ASAP
Pay: 13.00 per hour Hours: 20 per month
Responsible and accountable to: Centre Manager

Pegasus Childcare Centre is a small, happy, friendly pre-school and nursery set in the beautiful village of Osgodby, adjacent to the village Primary School with which we have excellent links. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated Administration and Finance Officer to join us.

Our successful candidate will be flexible and well organised , demonstrating excellent communication skills. You will be able to manage the setting's finances using the established QuickBooks software and Office 365.
Core Responsibilities of the Post
To provide high quality financial management through effective implementation of statutory frameworks, legislative guidance, recognised best practice and the annual business plan.
Deliver and follow agreed child protection/safeguarding arrangements. This will include raising concerns with the Manager in the first instance and with committee members and partner agencies as appropriate.
Support excellent working relationships with key partner agencies including Pegasus Childcare Centre Management Committee, Osgodby Primary School, EYE, Lincolnshire County Council, Charity Commission and Ofsted.
Support and enhance the financial security of the Centre by working with the committee and centre manager to identify potential funding streams for training, seeking grants and making the relevant applications, as necessary.
To assist the Manager in representing the interests of the Centre at local level.
Work with the Centre Manager and Committee to maintain and implement contingencies of the Risk Register
To provide the Committee with financial reports at all Committee meetings. (These may be held outside normal working hours and be in person or via Teams)
