We are looking to recruit for a Administration Manager to join a growing company based in Chesham! As part of the role, you will find yourself being responsible for providing day-to-day operational management to a team of 10.

You\xe2\x80\x99d find that you start in this role getting to really know what the company and team does, gaining knowledge on the role each member of the team plays, this is very much a role focussing on a smaller team within an SME so being able to manage a team on a closer level is essential.

This role is pay between \xc2\xa345K to \xc2\xa355K for the right person, Monday to Friday, full time hours of 9am to 5.30pm.

This company are based in the heart of Chesham (free parking on site), after training and settling into the role, hybrid working is very much in place and embraced. 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, excellent pension scheme, private health care and more!

Duties to include:

  • Provide positive leadership and day to day operational assistance to the Business and Administration Team Leaders, ensuring the support, training, and development of the teams.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators within the Business and Administration teams.
  • Support the Business Management and Administration line managers in the development and implementation of pathways and policies that underpin key functions of these teams, and which are proactively written, updated, managed, and remain relevant to business requirements/new initiatives.
  • Monitor the implementation of agreed changes to business processes within the Business Management and Administration Team and adjust as required.
  • Perform ongoing business analyses on business processes within the Business Management and Administration teams, related to productivity, quality, costs, and time management.
  • Participate in project meetings regarding projects within the Business Management and Administration teams, proposing adjustments, taking minutes, and following up on action points.
  • Through supervision and appraisal, to ensure the team leaders have the necessary management and leadership skills to support and guide their teams in a positive, efficient, and effective way.
Candidate requirements:
  • Degree in business, management, or related field would be ideal.
  • At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a business manager or relevant managerial role.
  • Proven experience with business processes and change management.
  • Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  • Analytical and commercial skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Diplomatic but assertive; good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Creative problem solving and lateral thinking.
  • Ability to use innovative.
