Join the Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS) as our Health Administration Manager , where your expertise will directly support the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities.



In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage a dedicated team of administrative and secretarial staff across ILDS, ensuring seamless, efficient, and effective support for our health professionals. Your leadership will be key to maintaining robust administrative systems that enable clinical teams to focus on delivering outstanding care.



Hosted by the London Borough of Enfield , ILDS is a collaborative, multidisciplinary service committed to improving lives. As Health Administration Manager, you will be seconded to work within this dynamic environment, fostering strong relationships across teams and services.

What You'll Be Doing:

Overseeing the performance and development of health administration staff across ILDS.

Ensuring the delivery of a responsive and high-quality administrative support network.

Managing communications with GPs, consultants, clinical departments, and external partners.

Upholding confidentiality and GDPR standards in all interactions.

Supporting patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy.

Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of service and accurate monthly reporting.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in staff management, administration, and project coordination.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities and confidence working with digital systems.

Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software packages.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.



As Health Administration Manager , you will lead the administrative function within the Integrated Learning Disabilities Service (ILDS), ensuring high standards of service delivery and operational excellence. Your core responsibilities include:



Lead and support the Psychiatry team to deliver responsive, high-quality services.

Provide day-to-day management of medical secretaries and administrative staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices.

Oversee and monitor data quality targets, including timely and professional communication via letters, phone, and email.

Deliver operational support that meets service standards and budget requirements, while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.

Ensure comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to clinical teams across ILDS.



Line manage administrative staff, including supervision, appraisals, leave and sickness management, and ensuring consistent service coverage.

Allocate and prioritise workloads to maintain service standards and responsiveness.

Liaise with the London Borough of Enfield to ensure effective reception services and task coordination.

Respond sensitively and professionally to enquiries from clinicians, consultants, GPs, service users, carers, and the public--often in emotionally charged or challenging situations.
