Role: Administration / Scheduling Assistant




Salary: 25,883.00 per annum




Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan




Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Specsavers home visits provide eyecare to patients in their own homes with mobile optical teams working remotely. Our central office is located in Barry and we are looking for a new Administrator & Scheduling Assistant to join our small team. In this role you will help to plan the clinics and schedules for the clinical teams that are out and about carrying out sight tests in patients own homes.



You will also be making and taking calls from customers and care home clients looking to book in patients for us to visit or reschdule appointments, therefore you will need to update customer records as well as route plan visits for the field-based teams and provide them with updates on their clinics. Organising deliveries of glasses to patients is something else you will be involved in as well as liaising with the field-based teams.


The role requires real attention to detail as well as strong administration and customer care skills. Candidate must be PC literate and have an excellent telephone manner.
