Up to 29,000 per year (depending on experience)




Charles Hurst is recruiting for a motivated and experienced

Administration Team Leader

to join our hard-working and friendly team at Belfast Boucher Road. This role will lead and support the administrative function across our operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a positive team culture.


As an Admin Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of administrators, supporting their development, and driving performance to deliver outstanding service to both internal colleagues and external customers. Reporting to senior management, you will play a key role in streamlining processes, monitoring compliance, and ensuring data is maintained to the highest standard.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:



Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of administrators to achieve departmental goals Allocating and overseeing workload, ensuring deadlines and standards are met Monitoring accuracy of data and ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer policies Driving improvements in processes, systems, and team efficiency Acting as the first point of contact for escalations or complex queries Delivering training, coaching, and ongoing development for team members Producing reports and performance updates for senior management

What we're looking for:



Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within administration (motor trade experience desirable but not essential) Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a process-driven mindset High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to manage a busy workload while prioritising effectively Confident IT skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels
