The role





We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join us. In this role, you'll lead and manage our Business Support Services Administration team in our Bristol office.



With demonstrable experience in effectively managing a team in a professional environment, this role offers you the opportunity to bring your leadership skills to a top UK law firm. You'll contribute to the smooth running of the business and ongoing success of the firm; leading your team to provide a seamless administration service to our lawyers and clients. This role will enable you to bring out the best in your team and make a real impact.



This is a predominantly office-based role, with occasional home working available. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm. Our office is based in central Bristol. Occasionally, you may be required to travel to our other offices in Birmingham, London and Leeds.



Main Responsibilities




Oversee the day to day operations of the Business Support Services Administration team Coach and develop your team; including performance reviews, setting objectives and regular one to ones Support your team to be their best, leading by example Build excellent relationships with our lawyers and clients Understand the business priorities to effectively manage incoming tasks and ensure a timely, smooth administration service Foster an excellent customer service environment Recruit and train new and existing team members Work closely with the Business Support Senior Leadership team and our HR team, to develop new and existing policies and procedures Identify opportunities for improvement, to ensure we operate efficiently and in line with best practice Support business change taking place across the firm, and participate in relevant projects

Demonstrable experience of managing, coaching/developing teams and improving performance Experience working within a customer service/professional services or legal environment A fair, consistent, inclusive and supportive management style An effective, clear, professional leader and communicator at all levels Able to build excellent working relationships with your team/department, stakeholders and the wider firm Self-motivated, with the ability to lead by example An organised individual with the ability to effectively prioritise business needs Ability to manage and support business change across the team Excellent attention to detail Knowledge of administrative processes such as printing, scanning, electronic filing and post handling
