Overview


We are looking for a proactive and personable individual to join our team at South Denbighshire Community Partnership (SDCP).

This role combines administrative efficiency with community engagement, supporting both our internal operations and the delivery of services to local residents in South Denbighshire.

To present an effective and efficient service to support the SDCP Team with administrative tasks to deliver the NLCF People and Places III, "Your Place or Ours - South Denbighshire" Project.

Ensuring our venues are warm and welcoming, which provides appropriate services to tackle social isolation, rural poverty and improve access to services.

You will work across our two hubs in Corwen and Llangollen, with occasional outreach across South Denbighshire.

The role includes setting up events, supporting vulnerable service users, and maintaining key systems and data.

This role requires a good level of physical fitness, including the ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, lift, carry, and kneel, to effectively deliver care and support to vulnerable service users.

The role requires applicants to hold a full Category B driving licence.

Access to own transport and the ability to drive the organisation's manual fleet vehicles are essential to meet operational needs.

Possession of a Category D1 licence would be advantageous.

The ability to communicate in Welsh would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities



Administration

Maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) and filing systems, accurately recording participant details, and event attendance. Use Excel to analyse and report on data within given timescales. Manage calendars, support meetings and events (including minute-taking and bookings) Handle enquiries, correspondence and payments. Receive and bank payments, maintaining accurate records.

Community Engagement

Support the Community Development Team in delivering activities. Provide reception services and greeting visitors. Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, supporting vulnerable individuals to access our services. Help promote SDCP's services and events including digital content. Other Duties Set up venues for events (requires physical fitness) Adhere to health and safety policies. Drive SDCP fleet vehicles (Category B licence required; D1 desirable) Contribute to the ongoing development of SDCP. Foster inclusive and welcoming environments Other duties that occasionally arise.

Pay: 13.00 per hour
