Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a professional phone etiquette, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the office. This role is essential in maintaining efficient administrative processes and providing clerical support to various departments.

Duties



Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date. Assist in the preparation of documents. Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information. Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to maintain stock levels. Provide general clerical support including typing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.

Skills



Proficient in administrative tasks with strong clerical skills. Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Familiarity with various applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for document management. Competent in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy. Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment. Proficient computer skills including typing speed and accuracy for various administrative functions.
