At Hamilton Morris Waugh, we are a forward-thinking accountancy firm serving a broad range of clients across Northern Ireland and beyond. Our friendly and professional team works hard to support businesses and individuals, helping them thrive financially.

We're now looking for a new Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. You'll be working closely with our experienced Administrative Assistant, taking the reins on her days off and helping her run a smooth, efficient office the rest of the week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional office environment - perfect for someone looking to kick-start their career in administration or business support.

What You'll Be Doing



You'll play a vital role in helping our office run like clockwork. Here are just a few of the tasks you'll be getting stuck into:

Welcoming clients and visitors with a friendly face

Managing incoming calls, emails and post

Keeping the office stocked, tidy and well-organised

Booking meetings and managing diaries

Scanning, filing and keeping client records up to date

Assisting with onboarding new clients and collecting key info

Helping with workflow management and keeping on top of deadlines

Supporting our book-keeping and accounts team with admin tasks

Taking care of internal registers, supplies, and simple reporting

Helping maintain a tidy and functional working environment

What We're Looking For



We don't expect years of experience, but we are looking for someone who is:

Reliable and well-organised - you enjoy ticking things off a to-do list

Friendly and approachable - you're confident chatting to colleagues and clients

Proactive and enthusiastic - you spot things that need doing and get stuck in

A great communicator - both written and verbal

Tech-savvy - confident using Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word and Excel)

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are essential.
