We are a growing Accountancy practice looking for a Administrative Assistant to carry out administrative duties and deliver excellent customer service.
The role is varied, you will be asked primarily to maintain our database, answering the phone, handle emails, deal with records, file paperwork, speak with HMRC to assist clients with their tax affairs and assist with day to day running of an administration department within a team of 5 administrators.
There is an opportunity to progress in to managing your own portfolio of clients.
Working in an accountancy practice you will also be given the opportunity to gain skills, experience and broaden your knowledge of the accounting world.
Candidates must be competent in use of computers and programs such as Word, Excel. Knowledge of databases useful but not essential.
Administrative experience is essential, however training will be provided.
Salary will be based upon relevant experience.
Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, with a 4.30pm leave on Fridays, an hour lunch break.
