About the Role
Harper Contracts (Insch) Ltd is a busy haulage, wood recycling, and wood pellet manufacturing company. We're looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to support our team. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to develop their skills within a supportive office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming visitors and answering phone calls professionally
Handling enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Processing orders, invoices, and data entry
Organising office tasks (filing, photocopying, scanning, supplies)
Managing incoming/outgoing mail and parcels
Assisting with deliveries, scheduling, and customer updates
Providing general administrative support to management and colleagues
What We're Looking For
A positive, can-do attitude
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Friendly, approachable manner with good communication skills
Ability to work well in a small, busy team
Computer skills (Sage and Microsoft Office) are an advantage, but training is provided
Open to All Levels of Experience
Whether you're an experienced administrator looking for a new challenge, or someone with no office experience but eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
