Administrative Assistant, L'Arche Highland



ABOUT THE ROLE





Reports to: Business Administrator


Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week, worked flexibly, occasional evening and weekend commitments locally, some events require travel


Salary: 12.60 per hour


Place of work: L'Arche Highland office, Inverness


Contract Type: Permanent

Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant / Administrator looking for a new challenge within a welcoming and supportive national Charity?

Main purpose of the role:





The Administrative Assistant role sits within the office of the community, liaising efficiently between HR, Administration, and Finance responsibilities as well as providing adequate support as required. This includes:

Being the point person for all enquiries for the office, answering phone calls and emails, and welcoming visitors; Assisting with the recruitment and new starter onboarding processes; Maintaining electronic files and databases; Processing invoices correctly in line with current practice; Supporting the maintenance of L'Arche property and office;

Key essential criteria:



A minimum of 2 years' experience in administration or office work; Proficient Microsoft Office user (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint); Numerate and able to handle payroll, annual leave, and pro-rata hours calculations effortlessly; A warm, caring and engaging personality;
