12.60

Hours of work:

16 hours per week, working Monday and Tuesday. (Hours/times can be flexible)

2Agriculture are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to support our Bawsey site in the day-to-day operations and help lead it to success. It is a fantastic time to join 2Agriculture and play a key role in realising our ambitious growth plans.

Role Profile



Within this role you will give support to the mill management team and will perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Assisting in daily office needs and managing the Company's general administrative activities in order to deliver business objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Implement all Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation and aligned to best practice. Support key operational areas through a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Input employee and payroll data on the Company's Actin Time system accurately and efficiently, compiling weekly and monthly reports for management approval. Assist with the maintenance and verification of scheduling data and logging transport defects. Ensure vehicle defects are escalated in an efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with current road haulage legislation and company policy and procedures. Assess raw material requirements by supporting stock takes and completion of all associated documentation, proactively seeking solutions where abnormalities occur to prevent a negative impact on production and quality standards. Liaise with mill production and transport scheduling to ensure amendments or cancellations of orders are efficiently recorded to accurately maintain stock levels. Compose and prepare various correspondence, forms and reports as required using company standard software, such as Microsoft office. Organise meeting logistics and activities that will support the sites priorities and objectives. Proactively plan ahead, confirm, initiate and coordinate. Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure the efficient flow of information so all internal and external requirements are met. Maintain efficient filing systems for the office to ensure proper and secure storage and timely retrieval and control of information. Share responsibility, along with other front office staff, for main reception desk, the mail, ordering general office stationary, PPE and raising purchase order numbers as required. Drive continuous improvement, proactively reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve the sites efficiency, safety, quality and performance. Manage and maintain all sites waste to the correct environment agency standards. Undertake any reasonable task as required and as directed by the mill management team such as data configuration and environmental checks.

Essential Skills and Experience Required



For this role you will need to be a true generalist with the ability to support across a number of different departments. Our business is fast paced, therefore experience in a similar FMCG business is preferable as you will need to be adaptable, managing several key priorities at one time. With a positive, can do approach you should have strong IT skills with an ability to adapt quickly to new software programs and operating systems. You will need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, in particular Excel, with an ability to pay close attention to detail when reporting data. Previous experience of supporting with Financial reporting including creating formulated spreadsheets is preferred. A basic understanding of HR and Health & Safety policies and procedures would also be advantageous.
