The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations & Compliance Officer and Accounts Department, providing essential administrative support across various departments, including Commercial and Operations.
This position offers a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on workload. The role is temporary for six months, with potential for extension or permanency. Flexible working hours can be accommodated to support personal commitments, such as school runs.
Responsibilities:
Perform general office administration tasks, including printing, scanning, and filing
Assist the Accounts Department by uploading supplier invoices onto Sage software
Register completed works with relevant accreditations
Order office supplies and equipment
Handle incoming phone calls professionally
Undertake ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Support the Commercial Department with price checking activities

Qualifications & Experience:
Previous administration experience is beneficial
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A to C (or equivalent) is essential
Attributes/Skills:
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
