Lettings Administrator - Independent Estate Agency (Islington)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm
Salary: 24,500 - 27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
An established independent estate agency in Islington is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Lettings Administrator to join their friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' experience in lettings or property administration who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handling incoming lettings enquiries, registering applicants, and arranging viewings and valuations.
• Preparing tenancy agreements, renewals, and other associated legal documentation.
• Coordinating safety certificates, including gas and electrical checks.
• Assisting with deposit returns and liaising with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
• Ensuring all client and property records are accurate and up to date.
• Managing keys efficiently, ensuring proper tracking and sign-out/in processes.
• Supporting the lettings team with general administration and day-to-day office duties.
• Maintaining high levels of communication via phone and email in a professional manner.
• Carrying out tenant referencing and assisting with move-in processes.

Skills & Attributes:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a property or lettings administration role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicator with a polite and professional telephone manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• A reliable team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently.
