We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our Building Control team as an Admin Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy office enviroment and has an interest in the construction and building control sector. The successfuly candidate will provide administrative support, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Building Control department.
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
Help process building control applications and documents.
Maintain and update files and records.
Schedule site inspections and meetings.
Assist with invoicing and payments.
Provide general administrative support to the team.
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role (preferred, but not essential).
Good understanding of building control regulations or willingness to learn.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with database management or document management systems (desirable).
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
