Job Description

A part-time Administrative Assistant is sought to support the St Andrews Encyclopaedia of Theology and related projects in the School of Divinity at the University of St Andrews. The post is offered for a fixed term in the first instance but could be extended depending on future funding.



The successful applicant will undertake administrative tasks on behalf of the projects, as well as supporting organization and planning. They will use systems such as Oracle, Qlikview, and Excel, as well as processes such as fixed-term contracting, procurement, and fee payments. This role will require excellent literacy, numeracy, administrative and communication skills. Successful applicants will be able to organise their workload independently, prioritize tasks, and proactively engage with contributors and project staff to fulfil the requirements of the role.



Candidates are expected to have a breadth of administrative experience, and experience with University of St Andrews systems is especially desirable.
