We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join the Surgery Care Group . We are looking for someone with the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team, and it is important that the post holder is able to adapt to changing demands, be accurate in inputting information and able to follow instructions.

The role will include, but not be limited to; administration tasks, including NMC Registration database, arranging Return to Work meetings, processing HR forms, and other office duties; including the administration of departmental meetings, taking and typing up of minutes. Excellent communication skills, accuracy, the ability to work calmly under pressure and the ability to work alone and within a team are essential.
This is a challenging role requiring excellent IT skills, to include knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/Excel/Outlook. You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with a wide range of professionals. You must be effective in prioritising workloads with a flexible approach. You must have the proven ability to work independently using your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Previous experience of NHS systems would be advantageous but not essential as full, comprehensive training will be given.
