We are searching for an enthusiastic person to join our Front of House Administration team at the
studio
in Birmingham City Centre.
about the job:
The role is based on our reception desk so we are looking for a friendly person, with great customer service skills. Due to the nature of the role, we require someone who is zero hours and will involve working weekends and evenings as we are a busy events venue.
Answer all incoming calls and direct to the relevant department. Take messages and email promptly, to the correct person where appropriate.
Helping with basic telephone enquires, such as giving directions, or opening times of the venue.
Work at the Studio's main reception desk, welcoming clients, directing guest to the correct room and providing information to clients.
This is a desk based job, which should be manned at all times.
Keeping the area clean and tidy at all times, keeping the area uncluttered. Assisting clients with the coffee bar and keeping this area clean and tidy also.
General reception duties and administrative assistance.
The hours will be based on a rota system
about you:
Being the first port of call, you are the face of the Studio. First impressions count, so you need to be well presented, friendly and willing to help.
You will have great people skills, be organised and efficient.
You need to have knowledge and experience of using various Social Media, as well as Outlook. You will be trained on our Venue Software.
Your English written skills must be excellent as you will be 'voice' of Studio.
Reception experience preferred, but not essential

Born as 'The Orange Studio' in 1999 we started with our award-winning Birmingham location and just 5 meeting rooms but it's safe to say we've grown a lot since then. We became the
studio
in 2006 and we are now an independent company, owned and run by the same team since the beginning but now having grown to 46 meeting rooms across 4 locations around the UK.
Though we've grown a lot our friendly, people focused ethos and culture very much remains at our heart.
