The post - Administrative Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Learning Transformation Department, providing comprehensive administrative support across a range of projects and programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in tracking key milestones, coordinating review processes, and ensuring deadlines are met. They will liaise with academic schools and professional service teams to support all stages of the student journey, using university systems such as Banner. The role also includes supporting events and conferences, managing logistics, and ensuring effective engagement and evaluation.

In addition to project and programme support, the post holder will be responsible for financial administration, office management, and servicing meetings and committees. They will maintain accurate records, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance with university policies. The role involves preparing reports and presentations, maintaining shared documentation systems, and adapting to changing departmental needs. Occasional travel to other campuses or partner institutions, as well as attendance at evening meetings or events, will be required.

The successful candidate should have the following:

Educated to HND level and/or hold equivalent professional experience. Extensive experience in a busy office environment with proven experience in delivering effective administrative support to a large and varied team. High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise workload and work on own initiative.
