Together, we strive to deliver an exceptional experience for researchers and contribute meaningfully to the global scientific community.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Editor to support the editorial and publishing activities of one or more scientific journals. The Administrative Editor will play a crucial role in coordinating peer review, ensuring smooth editorial workflows, and maintaining quality standards in collaboration with Editors-in-Chief, reviewers, and authors.ResponsibilitiesDelivering editorial administration services to editors, authors and reviewers to ensure journal needs and service level agreements are metManaging the editorial, submission and review process efficiently to reduce the lead time from submission to approvalGenerating journal and ad-hoc reports for editors and publishers for board meetings and strategic planningIdentifying and implementing changes to workflow and configuration to optimize the performance of journals, release initiatives and publishing policiesProviding support and troubleshooting advice to editors, reviewers, authors and teams for our submission systemCommunicating with our journal community, publishers and cross-functional teams to provide updates and advice for submission and publication queriesRequirementsHave excellent administration skills and a real eye for detail and accuracyHave excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to engage and build relationshipsBe able to take ownership of problems and implement solutionsEnjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives that make a differenceShow good data analysis skills and the ability to create and generate reportsHave great computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systemsHave excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing prioritiesBe a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a customer-focused approachWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
