Perth Sheriff Court have an opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join them on a part time permanent basis. The working pattern for the role This is 20 hour week working Monday to Friday am for 4 hours.

Administrative Officers carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court or provide support to other functions within the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service.

The Key Responsibilities



To undertake a number of general administrative duties including:
Processing and distributing incoming mail to colleagues which comprises of writs, summonses, simplified divorces, enquiries and other documents. Creating and updating records on our in-house computer system and data input Producing court documents Preparing files for court hearings General photocopying and filing Dealing with numerical calculations Accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidelines Undertake light portering duties as required
