Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Administrative Officer
to manage and support key back-office operations including
returns and replacements
,
label printing (UK-specific)
, and general administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth logistics processes and accurate record-keeping, while providing efficient support to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Returns & Replacements:
Process and manage product return requests from customers, ensuring timely resolution.
Coordinate with warehouses and courier partners to arrange collections or replacements.
Investigate reasons for returns and ensure accurate categorization and documentation.
Communicate effectively with customers to resolve queries related to returns and exchanges.
Maintain return and replacement logs and generate periodic reports for management review.
Label Printing (UK-Specific):
Print and verify shipping labels for UK orders, ensuring accuracy of recipient details.
Coordinate with the fulfillment and dispatch teams to ensure timely label delivery.
Ensure proper formatting, weight, and service selection for UK postage.
Liaise with shipping carriers to troubleshoot label generation or tracking issues.
General Administrative Duties:
Maintain organized records of shipments, returns, and customer communications.
Assist with order entry and inventory updates as needed.
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for internal use.
Support the wider admin team in day-to-day office tasks.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and data accuracy.
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative, logistics, or customer service role.
Familiarity with returns processing and shipping label platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience with UK eCommerce operations or online retail.
Knowledge of basic inventory or order management systems.
Understanding of UK courier services and label formats.
