We are looking for an Administrative Support Assistant This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Wallington County Grammar School and become an integral member of the Administrative team.

Key Responsibilities
The specific tasks assigned may vary depending on the school's needs at the time. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
General Administration and Communication
Provide a comprehensive administrative service to support school staff and departments as required.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external queries, liaising professionally with parents, students, other schools, and external agencies.
Assist in the production and distribution of school communications, letters, reports and other documents.
Data and Systems Management
Assist with the input and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date school records,
Including student data, using the schools Management Information System (MIS) and other systems.
Support data entry tasks across various school functions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with the administrative tasks related to the transfer of student records.
Operational and Logistical Support
Provide flexible administrative and practical support to key school operations,
Including the admissions process and examination cycles.
Assist the Exams Officer with tasks such as preparing exam materials, setting up exam rooms, and managing exam-related data.
Support the coordination of school events, trips, and parent evenings as required.
Resource and Finance Support
Assist in the ordering and procurement of school supplies and resources, following school finance procedures (e.g., raising purchase orders, checking deliveries).
Support staff in the creation and preparation of classroom resources, learning materials, and displays.
Assist with maintaining and monitoring stock levels of administrative and educational supplies.
You will need:
Proven experience in an administrative or office-based role.
High level of proficiency in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Docs.
English, Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Willingness to undertake further CPD.
Excellent communicator - sensitive, compassionate and effective
Excellent customer services, communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised and able to use initiative to resolve problems independently and within timescales
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands
