We are seeking a highly motivated and organised

Administrator

to support our growth. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to progress within a dynamic company and become an integral part of the team. Working directly with the Director, you will play a key role in streamlining operations, improving processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities1. Administrative & Office Support



Organise, maintain, and update company documentation, digital files, and project records. Prepare and issue quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor documentation. Monitor and respond to emails, enquiries, and customer communications. Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and manage daily workflow for the Director.

2. Project Support & Coordination



Assist with preparing project packs, RAMS, procurement lists, and job sheets. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project progress. Track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables. Support with tender submissions and admin relating to heritage and conservation projects.

3. Financial & Reporting Tasks



Assist with bookkeeping tasks (data entry, receipts, expenses). Maintain spreadsheets for project tracking, cost monitoring, and labour allocation. Support monthly reporting to support business planning and growth.

4. Business Growth & Marketing Support



Help maintain social media posts and website updates when required. Assist with writing case studies, collecting before/after photos, and organising project portfolios. Support business development activities by preparing documents, presentations, and follow-up communications.

5. Compliance & Operational Support



Keep compliance records up to date (insurances, accreditations, training logs, supplier approvals). Assist with H&S documentation and onboarding of new subcontractors or team members. Maintain stock and materials lists for the workshop and ongoing site projects.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Comfortable adopting new software and digital systems.

Experience Required



Previous administration experience (2+ years preferred). Experience in construction, heritage, joinery, or property services is desirable but not essential. Experience supporting a director or senior manager is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
