Job Opportunity: Administrator/Carer in Domiciliary Care

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator/Carer to join our team and support our operations in the domiciliary care industry.
Role Overview:
As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our domiciliary care service, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and effectively. A background in a care office would be beneficial, and this position will also involve caring duties as required, allowing you to make a direct impact on our service users' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Allocate daily tasks such as typing care plans, assessments, spot checks, and other correspondence
Collect new staff background checks
Manage the Facebook page and other social media
Serve as the first point of contact for phone calls and visitors
Coordinate training with the Training Manager
Collaborate with the Management Team to ensure smooth operations
Type competencies, spot checks, assessments, and other correspondence
Assist with phone operations and log calls in the system
Conduct various audits
Ensure compliance with CQC legislation
Support managers with administrative duties as required
Perform general administration tasks, including typing and documentation
Manage the holiday board and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in an administrative role, preferably within the care or healthcare sector
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, To Do); Adobe skills are a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving
Confident and compassionate nature with a desire to support both service users and staff
