We are currently looking for an Administrator to join the team at our Barlborough Hospital for either 2 or 4 days per week (15 or 30 hours).
This role is working on a Rota system and is as follows:
Week 1
Monday and Tuesday 7am-3pm
Thursday and Friday 10am-6pm
Week 2
Monday and Tuesday 10am-6pm
Thursday and Friday 7am-3pm

What you'll be doing
Reporting to our experienced Administration Manager, Gillian, you will be responsible for providing a patient focused and efficient administrative service within the hospital. This will include ensuring that all calls are answered in an efficient and courteous manner, all referrals are dealt with promptly and accurately and that patient records are maintained and kept confidential.
Ensuring that the telephone is answered in an efficient and courteous manner at all times
Accurately recording, actioning and passing on telephone messages
Ensuring that referrals are dealt with promptly and accurately, ensuring that all the patient's documentation is available prior to appointment, including any previous files, X-rays etc
Ensuing all patient outcomes are processed on a daily basis ensuring that future appointments are completed swiftly and accurately
Ensuring all the documentation and daily reports are completed accurately as and when required
Ensuring that all patient information is kept confidential, and that patient medical records are kept locked up at all times
Ensuring that any changes in appointments are liaised with the patient in an efficient and courteous manner and all documentation is maintained accurately
Undertaking any role within the Administration Team that may be required from time to time
What we'll look for in you
A sincere desire to be part of a team that takes great pride in helping patients
Sound knowledge and understanding of IT and software packages (Word/Excel)
Excellent Communication skills (Written and Phone)
Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
2 year's relevant experience
Good computer skills
