Are you our ideal candidate?



In this role,

you will provide administrative assistance to the Engagement & Ownership Team, contributing positively to the team by delivering excellent customer service and by promoting continuous improvement.


Your day-to-day role will be multi-faceted including supporting the facilitation of various meetings, including taking notes and minutes and monitoring actions. You will assist the team in organising diaries, making catering and travel arrangements, record keeping and processing purchase orders. This role would suit someone looking for a varied workload, who has experience dealing with a range of audiences.


You will use your comprehensive administrative skills to support a range of people including our Board and Democratic Body, Executive, Senior and Operational Leaders tenants and colleagues, and you will be guided by our Governance Partner., You will work alongside them in a mutual way to ensure that we meet our aims and objectives, and deliver on Welsh Government requirements.


To succeed in this role, you'll come with extensive administrative skills, ideally from a similar environment & will be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft products (including Sharepoint, Teams and Outlook). You'll also be self-motivated with an ability to prioritise your workload and manage multiple demands.

Please note, due to the nature of this role, there will be occasions where you will be expected to travel within the Merthyr Borough for your role.
