Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB



To provide excellent administrative support within the finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Answering the telephone and directing calls appropriately, answering queries, taking messages

Supplier statement reconciliation

Processing of purchase invoices & Credit Card Purchase invoices

Assistant in the preparation of financial reports

Maintain accurate financial records

Maintain Head Office central filing system, including archiving.

Data input: e.g. invoices,

Assist Finance Administrator with purchase orders and Bank reconciliation

Preparation of documents for meetings as required

Typing correspondence

Assist with the administration for Community Engagement and fundraising.

Attending training and staff meetings as required

Answering the telephone and directing calls appropriately, answering queries, taking messages

Any other duty that management reasonably requires of the role

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Bookkeeping / Accounts experience is essential

General level of education to GCSE or equivalent, including English and Maths at grade C or equivalent

Minimum 2 years' experience as an administrative assistant

Experience of working in a Care Home environment preferred but not essential

Competent word processing skills

Basic understanding of Accounting principles and practices is advantageous

NVQ Level 2 in business administration preferred but not essential

IT skills - Competent in all MS Office applications and experience of Resident information systems

Experience of Accounting Software, e.g. Xero

Experience and good knowledge of office procedures

Customer service skills - experience of working in a customer-facing environment

Understanding of the requirements of the Data Protection Act, especially as it relates to residents' and staff records

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 per hour
