About the Post
We are looking to appoint a SCITT Administrator to join our fantastic Bournemouth Bay Teacher Training Partnership (BBTTP) team. BBTTP is a SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) provider based in Christchurch and Poole. We are part of the Twynham Learning multi academy trust. We train, accredit and inspire the next generation of secondary school teachers in our local communities, through our strong links with our region's schools and our partnership with the University of Reading. To help us achieve our aims, we need and value effective administrative to support us. This vacancy is for an outstanding administrator whose main duties will be:
Maintaining databases and trainees' records/files and producing reporting
Managing internal communications e.g. to co-ordinate placement schools/mentors and trainees
Supporting our trainee attraction, recruitment and vetting checking processes, including at open days and events
Administrative and co-ordination support throughout our trainee's journeys, including graduation and awarding qualified teacher status, as well as other BBTTP initiatives and events such as our annual mentor conference
Photocopying, processing mail other and general admin tasks
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with Twynham Learning's Safeguarding and Child Protection policies

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Relevant experience of administration work including databases and analysis of data and the ability to carry out a wide range of administrative duties
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
Education equivalent to GCSE Grade C in English and Mathematics
Safer Recruitment certification (or the ability to achieve this upon appointment)
Professionalism, confidentiality, diplomacy/discretion, flexibility and approachability
Self-motivation and ability to use own time effectively with an ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines, including managing changing and conflicting deadlines and frequent interruptions to work
Strong literacy skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills
