Overview



We are looking for an experienced HR and Administrator to join our expanding team with an immediate start available



10 hours per week 14.18 per hour (hours and days to be discussed)



The candidate must have experience of all human resource functions



Duties



To provide a confidential and efficient administrative service to the HR and Administration department. .To administer advertising of job vacancies through a variety of resources including indeed, N-Vision website, job board websites, etc. To assist/ take the lead in the full recruitment process from job vacancies, applications, organising interviews, and subsequent follow-up requirements including obtaining references and processing DBS checks and documentation. To deal with incoming/outgoing post, telephone calls and enquiries. Produce and send letters of thanks to donors / fundraisers. Review emails daily and action / reply. Place monthly order for the organisation's stationery requirements. Administration communication/s with Trustees, Members, Staff, Volunteers, Inter-agency representatives, Stakeholders and the general public. To organise and provide administrative support for meetings and events eg: Board of Trustees and Sub-Committee meetings, including the preparation of agendas and documents, accurate recording of minutes, timely distribution of documents etc. To maintain accurate records and filing systems relating to Governance, Human Resources, Health and Safety and Quality Standards etc. To assist in accepting and confirming room bookings as required for the organisation's conferencing facilities, organise catering and other requirements eg: projector, screen, venue layout, heating etc. To support the CEO and SMT as required. To undertake other general administrative duties as required by the CEO and SMT. To carry out other associated duties, responsibilities and training as required. To maintain harmonious working relationships with residents, volunteers, clients and colleagues. To adhere to all company and legislative requirements including Health & Safety, Confidentiality, GDPR etc. To take minutes of all HR meetings and liaise with Peninsula on all HR processes. Work with the CEO on reviewing policies and procedures. Monitor contract end dates and negotiate best value for the charity. Implement and manage our Bright HR online portal. All employees are expected to positively promote the work of the organisation through communications, publicity and fundraising.
