Are you a compassionate and experienced administrator looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families?
We are currently seeking a dedicated Hospice Administrator to support the smooth running of our In-Patient Unit and provide vital assistance to the Head of In-patient Services. This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week, typically worked over three days (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) -- however there is some flexibility on days. In this rewarding role, you'll contribute to a caring and supportive environment, helping ensure the highest standards of care and service for those at a crucial time in their lives.
This includes:

Carrying out administrative tasks as requested by the Head of In patient services or the senior nursing team
Registering patient referrals when required
Ward clerk responsibilities as required
Working closely with the medical secretary to ensure medical examiner reports are completed
Ensuring patient discharge paperwork is completed
Supporting with the induction programme for new starters and documentation for leavers
Working closely with the education team to ensure Staff rota is up to date with staff training and ensuring sign off for payroll completed on time
Checking NHS emails
Attending and taking notes at monthly team meetings

Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
A range of IT skills - the ability to use Microsoft word and Excel is essential. You will also need to be able to use SystmOne, the patient record system for which full training will be provided
