Required for Sizewell Project, Suffolk - Hybrid role.



6 month Fixed-Term Contract



Salary: 28,720 - 29,562

The position:



We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to assist on our Sizewell project. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with requirements to be on site 3 days a week.

Duties:



Liaising with Project Managers and Project Officers to ensure that Allocation Sheets are submitted. Reviewing the consolidated Allocation Sheet to determine any inconsistent data and clarifying with Project Managers and Project Officers. Advising Project Managers and Project Officers of corrections. Scanning and filing documents generated at site. Providing back up to the Office Administrator for booking inductions and organising temporary worker and visitor passes. Undertaking administrative tasks associated with office operations and in support of the fieldwork team. Supporting and liaising with the relevant Project Officers or Senior Project Managers and with the OA Teams as appropriate. Working with regard to Health and Safety in relation to the relevant documentation including Risk Assessments. Undertaking delegated tasks from the Management Team and Office Administrator.

Knowledge and Skills Required:



Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively, and liaise with clients, suppliers, visitors and colleagues at all levels. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively within a reactive environment. Ability to work with a high standard of accuracy and high level of confidentiality. Pragmatic approach to problem solving and decision making, and ability to use initiative. Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, ideally with experience of line management of a team. Experienced user of MS Word and Excel, and a confident user of ICT. Experience of facilities/office management including compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Full driving licence.

Desirable:



Experience working in a similar industry - including site work, plant and welfare. Previous experience in project/operations administration or logistics work.
