About the role

Northamptonshire Children's Trust Localities Business Support Team is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join the busy Duty and Assessment Safeguarding business support team, offering support to Social Worker teams.


Working within a team of 6, supporting a wider team of 60 this is a role where you can really make a difference to the lives of families and young people.


The role is office based however after a successful training period we would consider some hybrid working. Hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00-17:30 and Friday 09:00-17:00.

What will you be doing?

You could be asked to help source a baby seat and organise food vouchers right through to consulting with Police, Health, Youth Offending and Crime Reduction agencies to convene meetings which take place on a regular basis


Supporting with a wide range of situations that occur in a young person's life from the age of 0-27 years
Providing a comprehensive, confidential range of effective administrative support.
You will minute professional discussions ensuring an accurate record always exists.
You are someone that enjoys networking with multi agency professionals.
You are positive, dynamic, solution-focused, with experience in business support or administration.

About you

You enjoy working with daily deadlines and have experience of working in a fast paced, sensitive and confidential environment.


You are confident user of Word, Excel, Outlook and other IT applications


Experience in processing invoices, minute taking and touch typing is desirable, as these will be key tasks for this role.
