Job Description

Macduff Shipyards Limited is seeking an organised administrator to join our team in Macduff.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected company and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our operations.

Key Duties Include:



Handling incoming calls and emails, providing professional and timely responses to customer and supplier enquiries. Managing bookings, invoicing, and diary scheduling. Ordering parts and ensuring all documentation and records are accurately maintained. Covering administration duties and sales of our Wartsila Deep Sea Seal parts. Ensuring all paperwork and maintenance schedules are up to date for our crane and van fleet. Providing support to other office team members.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, reliable, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will provide valued administrative support to our various departments and be motivated to deliver a high standard of service to our customers.

Essential Skills and Experience:



Previous experience in an office administration role (preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Experience using Sage 50 Accounts (advantageous but not essential).
