How you'll make a difference:
As an Administrator Note Taker, you will arrange meetings and take minutes at confidential and sensitive meetings. Providing support to our Independent Reviewing Officers, your work allows us all to deliver the best possible services for local people.
What you will be doing:
Day-to-day, you will provide administrative support, including preparing for and arranging statutory child protection meetings.
You will attend meetings either virtually or in person at venues across South Gloucestershire and provide note taking, making sure they are clear and accurate.
As required, you will accurately record information into the central computerised system and distribute minutes within required statutory timescales.
It will be your responsibility to monitor and prioritise the flow of incoming work via either a shared mailbox or internal computerised system and ensure documentation is correct and input accurately.
What we need from you:
We require you to hold either an NVQ Level 2 or 3 GCSEs (grade 4 or above) or an equivalent qualification or have experience in office administration.
You will need to have the ability to take and type up accurate minutes of meetings, format documents using Microsoft Office and maintain computerised record systems.
It is essential that you can work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
What you need to know:
This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office and at home.
You will be expected to travel to other locations across South Gloucestershire so you must have a full, valid driving licence with regular access to a vehicle or have an alternative means of travel.
