This role offers a

flexible working pattern

, including options for a

4-day week

9-day fortnight.

We're also offering

hybrid working

with typically a 50/50 split with onsite and home working, subject to business needs.

Role Overview




The Administrator / Planner provides essential support to the training department and plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of training.

Training Plan and Scheduling



Support the creation of an annual Training Plan and manage course scheduling to ensure instructors are allocated effectively. Deconflict training with production and operational activities. Produce management metrics that provide lead indicators, highlighting risks to achieving a Suitably Qualified and Experienced workforce before requirement dates.

Training Completion & Records

Ensure all training is completed and accurately recorded in a timely manner.

Key Duties



Liaising with instructors and planning them into course schedules Booking resources, classrooms, media, and preparing training material prior to delivery Maintaining training spreadsheets and compiling course reports Processing and placing purchase orders, obtaining quotations, and filing paperwork Answering phone calls, monitoring group mailboxes, and handling enquiries Completing visitor access requests for instructors and attendees Additional support to other training department administrators as required Performing general training administration tasks as directed by the Training Associate Manager

Required skills, qualifications and experience




Proven experience in an Administration, or Planning-related role Excellent stakeholder management skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and be agile and adapt to changing priorities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Keen attention to detail Highly organised and pragmatic approach and able to deliver to set deadlines Holds high level of professionalism at all times, ensuring high standards
