To assist the Sales Engineer in the Sales Department system related requirements in accordance with the policies, goals and objectives established by the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
Input new customer data into ERP system, setting up new customers, making new customer account applications.
Processing and adding customer requests for quotations, collating drawings and specifications.
Using customer portals to obtain information and update sales order details.
Contacting customers to update on project status, asking for information and be point of contact for RFQ's.
Adding parts to the ERP system and structuring bills of material ensuring Part Numbers are correct - Non technical requirement.
Sales Order Processing of Customer Purchase Orders.
Using ERP System (EFACS) to create and maintain sales orders
Creating and adding work orders and maintaining allocations.
Carrying out contract review on behalf of sales department - Non technical requirement.
Communicate and liaise with other departments when changes arrive to sales orders.
Ensure that there is adequate information issued to the Production Control department with the quotation file and customers order.
Maintain records for the Quotations, customers' orders, contract review information and order amendments.
Receiving, Processing and Coordination of Engineering Change Note (ECN) through various departments.
Collating Variation Order Request (VOR) information in order to submit to customer for approval. Subsequent updating of Sales Orders.
On occasions, assist with other members of Commercial department in Administrative tasks such as compiling documentation, sending RFQ, contacting Suppliers for updates - Non Technical
To maintain, develop and improve wherever possible, company procedures, standards of quality and workmanship to BS EN ISO 9001 & AS9100 at all times.
To jointly ensure all health and safety regulations are observed and maintained.
To maintain and improve customer relationships by ensuring that the customers' needs and expectations are communicated to the relevant areas within the business ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.

Previous administration experience.
