Job Title: Legal Administrator



Full time 37.5hrs / Permanent / Salary 24,570 / Office Based Stoke

Legal Administrator

, based in Stoke (ST4 4TW).

What's the role?



As our Legal Administrator, you will support the team's debt collection activities, answering queries and providing information to support litigation activities internally and with external solicitors.

You will also interact with customers directly, in addition to third-party debt collection agencies and internal stakeholders in the business.

What are some of the duties I'll be doing?



Conduct account reviews and provide information on accounts in litigation. Checking valid information, assigning risk level, making and implementing recommendations, whilst supervised by solicitors in the team. Assist the litigation with operational requirements (for example invoices/bi - lat requests) or similar in live cases. Ensure accounts cleansed following litigation process prior to back into dunning journey or released back into usual processes. Under supervision, handle complex queries/issues to the satisfaction of the customer and Water Plus. Other administrative tasks required by the Legal, Regulation and Compliance team.

What are we looking for from you?



Essential:



Clear and fluent communication skills, written and verbal, including letter writing and email production. Ability to influence and negotiate with others with strong interpersonal skills. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy IT literate, MS Office, Excel Ability to adapt to fast pace changing environment.

Desirable:



University degree (ideally legal degree) and awareness of water industry and market

What is a Water Retailer and who is Water Plus?
