We're looking for a proactive and organised Administrator to support our HR function and recruitment efforts. This is a varied role where you'll be involved in everything from onboarding new talent to supporting employee engagement and development. You'll also be the welcoming face of Terberg DTS, covering reception duties during lunch breaks and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR administrative support in line with company policies, quality standards, and employment legislation.
Support recruitment activities including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, one to one meetings with hiring managers, arranging interviews, and onboarding.
Work closely with hiring managers, our Internal Recruitment Consultant, and external agencies to attract top talent.
Maintain accurate employee records on our PeopleHR employee system.
Create and deliver reports via our PeopleHR employee system.
Become a PeopleHR "super user", providing training to managers & staff.
Maintain accurate records on all excel spreadsheets and databases.
Assist with developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Support employee engagement, training, and development initiatives.
Manage holiday bookings and support absence tracking and return-to-work processes.
Coordinate internal communications including newsletters, posters, and notice boards.
Cover reception duties and act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
Proactively seek to improve and develop the HR function and it's processes.
Promote a positive and professional image of the business at all times.
What We're Looking For
Strong administrative skills.
(background in HR desirable but not essential)
Admirable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levels.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to proactively manage own workload.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment.
High level Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and good PowerPoint knowledge.
