About YesCymru YesCymru is a non-party political grassroots organisation campaigning for an independent Wales. We work to engage people from all backgrounds in shaping a democratic, prosperous, and confident future for our country. We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Administrator to support our day-to-day operations. This role is central to keeping YesCymru running smoothly -- supporting our membership, governance, and events, while helping maintain accurate bilingual records and clear communication across the organisation. About the Role The Administrator will provide essential administrative support to the National Governing Body (NGB), Council of Deputies (CoD), and local groups. The role involves managing records, assisting with meetings and elections, supporting the membership system, and helping ensure YesCymru operates efficiently and transparently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, communication, and working in a values-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for members and local groups, providing information and support. Provide secretariat support to meetings of the NGB and CoD, including preparing agendas, circulating papers, and taking minutes. Support the coordination of director elections and the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Maintain the membership database, allocate membership numbers, and support integration with the website and members' portal. Help keep local group details accurate and assist new groups to set up. Upload and manage documents on Google Drive, ensuring materials are organised and accessible. Essential Qualifications and Skills Excellent computer skills, including experience with databases, spreadsheets, and online platforms. Fluent Welsh speaker, with strong written and spoken communication skills in both Welsh and English. Full UK driving licence and access to transport; able to travel to events and meetings across Wales. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Good translation and proofreading skills (Welsh/English). Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team. Desirable Skills and Experience Previous administrative experience in a membership, voluntary, or campaigning organisation. Experience supporting or coordinating events. Familiarity with website content management or online membership systems. Understanding of governance processes within not-for-profit or member-led organisations. Awareness of YesCymru's aims and values, and enthusiasm for promoting Welsh independence.
