We are seeking a dedicated and personable Admissions Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional support to prospective students and their families, ensuring a smooth and welcoming admissions process. Duties
Provide accurate and relevant advice on courses offerred by Mont Rose College to students
Check the progress of sutdent application forms for accuracy before arranging an interview wht the relevant department
Clearing, confirming and enrollment for the student
Process DBS checks
Input data into our student data base, ensuring all data added is correct
Assessing qualifications with accuracy, to ensure qualifications obtained in another country apply to UK standards
Carry out a fee assessment for international and UK fees
Collaborate with the student recruitment team
Able to work flexibly and able to attend events, that may be out of your normal hours
Able to identify the needs related to the admission application and procedure training and liason with UKVI, advising international students admission Manager to arrange his/her training arrangements.
Monitoring and processing of UCAS/Direct applications
The ability to deal with the student admission application of international students, liaise with UKVI, advising international students on the policies of UKVI and their processes and English Language requirements
Chasing internal and external leads via Facebook and any other social media platform
Any other duties assigned by the Admission Manager
Qualifications
Previous experience in an educational or teaching environment is preferred, but not essential
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in supporting student success
Friendly demeanour with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
