The Graduate Admissions team is responsible for all admissions to UCL's graduate taught, research and affiliate programmes. It handles approximately 97,000 applications per cycle and is responsible for admitting approximately 18,500 students in each academic year. The Admissions function is critical in ensuring that UCL secures the desired number of students to meet UCL's aspirations in terms of securing and maintaining a well-qualified, balanced student body and associated tuition fee income.




About the role


------------------


We are seeking to recruit an Admissions Assistant to work in our centralised graduate admissions team where they will be actively engaged in key aspects of graduate admissions administration, principally for applications received directly to UCL. As a first point of contact for handling enquiries regarding postgraduate study, you will be tasked with processing applications promptly and efficiently, as well as maintaining accurate records on the UCL admissions portal, UCLSelect. You will be liaising with prospective graduate students and their representatives, which may include arranging interviews and requesting design work and/or other documentation, as well as with members of staff in UCL academic units and Professional Services divisions and external agencies, such as UK ENIC.



This role will be fixed-term until 30 June 2026 in the first instance.

About you

The successful candidate must have experience of admissions in a higher education setting and will have excellent organisational skills, together with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The nature of the role requires an individual with good interpersonal skills who is able to work successfully in a team.
