Job Summary






The Admissions Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Admissions Manager and Client Relationship Managers with the onboarding of new apprentices. This includes handling administrative tasks, liaising with clients and learners, and ensuring all documentation and records are accurately processed and compliant. The role is central to delivering a high-quality, efficient onboarding experience for both learners and employers.



The role will be 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home during probation period.




Key Focus of the Role




Provide administrative support Ensure accurate completion and storage of learner documentation Maintain and update learner records across internal systems Liaise with employers and learners to chase and track outstanding onboarding actions Coordinate learner inductions, course bookings, and welcome communications Support quality assurance by auditing learner files and system records Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support timely onboarding across intakes



Skills & Experience





Essential




Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team Professional and approachable manner when liaising with employers and learners



Desirable




Previous experience in education or apprenticeship administration Understanding of apprenticeship onboarding or ESFA funding requirements Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
